Paris Hill Cat Hospital maintains a team of cat-focused veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians and support personnel all dedicated to the medical, surgical, behavioral and nutritional care of your family cat. Dr Tom Rothwell came to Paris Hill from Columbia University and the American Museum of Natural History in New York City and purchased Paris Hill Cat Hospital in March of 2005. Although Dr Jacqui and technician Kirsten were here in the beginning, the rest of the staff have been carefully assembled in the subsequent years.
Dr. Tom Rothwell
is a 1976 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and is the managing veterinarian at the Paris Hill Cat Hospital. A self-described cat-focused scientist, Dr. Rothwell holds a PhD in Paleontology from Columbia University and the American Museum of Natural History where he studied the fossil record of the earliest cats to enter North America, 16 million years ago. Dr. Jacqueline van der Knaap
received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. A member of the staff since 2003, Dr. Jackie is usually the designated surgeon at Paris Hill. She has loyal clients who travel with their cats for up to two hours to experience her medical mastery and surgical skills.
Dr. Kate Marquardt
Dr. Kate graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1976. Dr. Kate has more than 15 years of experience in feline-only practice and will concentrate on the internal medicine problems of our Paris Hill patients.
Dr. Jennifer Maurer
Our newest addition, Dr. Jennifer is a Paris Hill alumnus, having worked here back in the year 2000. A wife and mother of 3 from Oxford, NY, this feline-only veterinarian received her veterinary degree in 1996 from Cornell University.
Dr. Liane Amaral
Dr. Liane Amaral is an experienced feline-only veterinarian who received her DVM from Kansas State University in 1992. She has been a Paris Hill veterinarian since summer 2014. Dr Liane is presently a Veterinary Field Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, is an expert Class 5 whitewater kayaker and lives with her husband and pets in Lyons Falls, NY.
Dr. Ralph Goldman
Ralph Goldman, DVM joined the Paris Hill family in April of 2017. An experienced feline veterinarian, Dr Ralph received his veterinary degree from the University of the Philippines in 1981, participated in Veterinarians Without Borders in India, and consulted at Petzoo in Shanghai, China. In New York City, Dr Ralph worked at The Cat Practice, and was a partner at the Feline Health Hospital.

Kirsten Casale, LVT
Kirsten received her licensed veterinary technician degree (LVT) degree from State University of New York at Delhi in 1990. A long time member of the Paris Hill family since 1996, Kirsten will participate in your cat's treatment from examination to admission to discharge.
Marcia Seamon, LVT
Marcia received her LVT degree from Delhi in 2001. She first joined the staff of the Paris Hill Cat Hospital in 2008.
Jasmine Zinkovitch, LVT
Jasmine received her LVT from Delhi in 2011. A mother of a 3-year old daughter, Jasmine enjoys working with cats and spending time with family.
Jeanne Combellack, LVT
Jeanne Combellack received her LVT degree from Delhi in 1986 and began working at Paris Hill in 2006. A mother, wife and accomplished horsewoman, Jeanne is responsible for many of the high risk dental procedures performed at Paris Hill Cat Hospital.
Rachael Munyan, LVT:
An experienced LVT from Liverpool, NY, Rachael joined the Paris Hill family in May of 2016 after moving to our area. A member of the NYS Association for Veterinary Technicians, Rachael is a wife and mother and now resides with her family in Richfield Springs.
Crystal Brayman, LVT:
Graduated from SUNY Canton in 1995 and is married with 3 children, 3 cats, and 2 dogs. Her family owns a dairy farm and bull semen collection facility. Crystal joined the Paris Hill family in March 2017.
Josh Bruce, LVT:
Josh received his LVT degree in 2013from SUNY Delhi. A skilled feline LVT, Josh lives nearby with family, 2 dogs and 6 cats.
has been a staff member of Paris Hill Cat Hospital since 2004. A 2003 graduate of Cornell University, Miranda and her husband and son operate a nearby dairy farm.
Megan received her BS degree from Hilbert College in 2004 and joined the Paris Hill family in November of 2015. Megan lives with her husband, ferrets, dog and of course, a cat, in nearby Deansboro.
Susan J Cochran
is a registered dietician and joined the staff in 2011. Susan has a Master's degree in Health Care Management from the New School in New York City and interned at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Before coming to Paris Hill, Susan worked for Oneida County for 15 years.
Cassandra is an experienced receptionist/veterinary assistant who joined the Paris Hill family in April of 2016. A graduate of the Utica School of Commerce, a wife and mother from Hubbardsville, NY, "Cass" is a welcome addition to the cat-caring staff of Paris Hill Cat Hospital.
Mandie joined the Paris Hill staff in August of 2016. A graduate of SUNY Oswego, Mandie comes to us with veterinary assistant experience. She is a veterinary assistant and receptionist. She lives in nearby Whitesboro with her cat and fiancé.
Jamie began her Paris Hill experience in reception and medical records several years ago. After a career stop in Virginia, Jamie returned to Paris Hill in 2017 to assume the role of Paris Hill Hospital Manager. She lives in Cassville with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
Hospital Manager Emeritus
Debra joined the Paris Hill staff in September of 2009 and served as Hospital Manager until June 2017, when she retired. She came to us from the NBT Bank, where she worked in the Financial Services Department in both the Norwich and New Hartford branches. Debra is the wife of Paris Hill veterinarian, Dr. Tom Rothwell.
