As a Research Associate in the Division of Paleontology, (click here to visit the Division of Paleontology staff web-site, I focus my research on fossil members of the family Felidae (fossil felids, fossil cats). I study primarily the fossil felids of North America, focusing on the specimens present in the Frick-AMNH collection of fossil mammals. Click here to search the database of fossils at the American Museum of Natural History. At present, I am studying our collection of the genus Nimravides, one of the earliest felids to display saber-tooth characters.
