If your cat does get sick, Paris Hill Cat Hospital is where you should take it. Paris Hill veterinarians are focused on the Internal Medical problems of the family cat. Every day, we diagnose and treat diabetes, kidney, liver, and thyroid problems in cats. Unfortunately, we must deal with cancer in cats on a daily basis.
Need a second opinion? We routinely deal with illnesses of cats referred to us from our colleagues from Albany to Syracuse. We are happy to work with your regular veterinarian in diagnosing and treating your cat’s illness.
Behavioral problem in your cat? Download this Behavioral Form, fill it out and make an appointment with one of the Paris Hill feline only veterinarians soon.
Emergency? We provide urgent care examinations when you feel your cat needs to be seen before you are able to get a regular appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in soon after your arrival, between scheduled appointments. You will pay more for this service.
Have you recently adopted from a Humane Society? We offer a reduced fee wellness exam for a cat or kitten within the first 2 weeks of leaving the Humane Society. We can help determine that your chosen cat will be a healthy addition to your family.
Pain relief in your cat is a very special area of our practice.
Many medications that are safe for dogs or people can be dangerous in cats. Some prescriptions for cats are only problem-free when given in very precise amounts or after special patient evaluation via blood tests.
Veterinarians at Paris Hill spend a lot of time and effort in planning your cat’s pain relief protocol after injury, surgery or during illness.

Welcome to the Paris Hill Cat Hospital low-cost Spay and Neuter Program. This project is open to all cat owners in the Mohawk Valley. There are no eligibility requirements. Cats in the program receive an exam by one of our cat-focused veterinarians, spay or neuter surgery, distemper and rabies vaccine, as well as a dose of the monthly flea and ear mite medication — Revolution. Cats are brought to the cat hospital in a cat carrier on the day of their appointment between 8-8:30 a.m. and are ready to be picked up later that same day between 3-5 p.m. No appointment is needed for feral cats: simply trap the cat, call us, and then transport them to Paris Hill. We will admit the feral cats and perform their surgeries as soon as possible. Some ferals will be done the same day. At the very latest, they will be ready to be picked up 24 hours later.
To enroll your cat in the low-cost Spay and Neuter program:

The veterinarians at Paris Hill only operate on cats.
Focused on this one type of patient only, our staff has the experience and expertise to provide surgical solutions to your cat’s problem. A specific anesthesia protocol will be selected for your cat. Surgery is performed 4 days a week and these patients recover in the quiet of a dog-free facility. Cat-focused pain relief is practiced by our staff seven days a week, and you can visit your cat in the hospital as soon as it is safe to do so.
