Dr. Tom Rothwell
Tom is a 1976 graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University and is the present owner the Paris Hill Cat Hospital. A self-described cat-focused scientist, Dr. Rothwell holds a PhD in Paleontology from Columbia University and the American Museum of Natural
History where he studied the fossil record of the earliest cats to enter North America, 16 million years ago. Click here to visit Dr. Rothwell's research site at the American Museum of Natural History.
Dr. Jacqueline van der Knaap
Jacqueline received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. A member of the staff since 2003, Dr. Jackie is usually the designated surgeon at Paris Hill. She has loyal clients who travel with their cats for up to two hours to experience her medical mastery and surgical skills.
Dr. Kit Blackmore
Kit started the Paris Hill Cat Hospital in 1990. "Dr. Kit" has two veterinary degrees: a DVM from Cornell in 1979 and a MRCVS degree that he earned from the University of Bristol in England in 1985. Semi-retired today, Kit continues to be a part of the weekly surgery rotation at Paris Hill

Dr. Karen Doucette
is a 2003 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and a staff member at Paris Hill since 2006. Dr. Karen has a particular interest in the field of shelter and feral cat medicine and is veterinary advisor to the Finger Lakes SPCA.
and also makes house calls to clients in the Paris Hill area.



Kirsten Casale
received her licensed veterinary technician degree (LVT) degree from State University of New York at Delhi in 1990. A long time member of the Paris Hill family since 1996, Kirsten will participate in your cat's treatment from examination to admission to discharge.
Jeanne Combellack
received her licensed veterinary technician degree (LVT) degree from the State University of New York at Delhi in 1986. Jeanne's feline veterinary skills are only exceeded by her communication skills. She will keep you constantly informed of your cat's progress during its treatment at Paris Hill.

Miranda Powers
received her BS from Cornell University in 2004. When she is not ably assisting in the health care of your cat at Paris Hill, Miranda and her husband operate a 50 cow dairy farm in nearby Poland, NY



Joann Miller
commutes an hour in each direction to run the reception and medical records office at Paris Hill Cat Hospital. Joann will make your appointments and enter data in your cat's medical records.




Lindsey Feisthammel
is the newest member of the growing Paris Hill family, joining us in August, 2006. She holds an AAS degree from SUNY Cobleskill. She brings talent, grace, and an aptitude for feline wellness to the Paris Hill Cat Hospital.
